Car engines got lots of classifications,you might be familiar with some and some might be totally new to you.

2: Camshafts- (a) Single Over Head Camshaft (sohc),
(b) Double Over Head Camshaft (dohc)
3: Pistons alignment - a). V
b). W c). Straight. d). Rotary
4: Aspirations. - a) Naturally aspirated b) Turbocharged, c) Supercharged.
5: Cylinder head. - a) Flat cylinder head, b) OverHead valve c) Over Head Cam
